24 Hour Project, follow up

On March 19, starting at 12:00AM and ending at 11:59PM, I participated in the 2016 24 Hour Project. This year the event had an additional purpose. In addition to shooting photos for 24 hours as a way of documenting life around the world, it was also a platform to raise awareness and support for SheHasHope.org, supporting rehabilitation and restoration of survivors of human trafficking.

Participating in 24 hour project for SheHasHope.org

@holsingerphoto on instagram/periscope/snapchat

Tonight, at midnight, I’ll begin shooting and sharing images from the streets of Portland, ME for 24 hours to support and raise awareness for SheHasHope.org.

Follow along to see what I find at @holsingerphoto on Instagram/Periscope/Snapchat. I’ll be posting 1 photo per hour for 24 hours.

Follow #24hrproject to see photos from around the world documenting the full range of “the human condition”.

My personal focus is going to be around transportation. We’ll see how it turns out…

I suspect I will be cold, tired and bored between 2am and 6am. That’s when I’ll probably be talking into my phone and posting videos. Again, we will see..

Mary, Converge 2015

For me, 2015 was a great year for making portraits. As we close out the year, I want to share some of the color images made during my black and white photo sessions. I hope you had a great year and I wish you an even better 2016!

Mary presents a lovely profile.
